Project Goals

  • To create a network of residents, municipalities, health care facilities, and schools feeding themselves healthy, local, and nutritious food year-round.
  • Establish strong ties with the local community, as well as with the businesses that are in the community in a perpetual effort to deliver healthy fresh food to as many people as possible.
  • Provide an additional income source and food source to families in need.
  • Lower the average food mile by growing the food in the communities that will end up enjoying it.
  • Enhance and strengthen the sense of community, and encourage neighbors to talk, cook, and interact with one another.
